Welcome to the I Jet It blog!
My story of how it all started is quite interesting, to say the least. I finally took my family and friends advice and started a blog about my experiences and adventures. My passions are both travel and aviation. Over the years, I have travelled extensively landing on six continents. One of my life goals is to explore as much of the world as possible. I am fascinated with aircrafts. I’m currently training to become a pilot. I look forward to owning my own jet and jet-setting at my own pace and time.
Why I started this blog
Are you a frequent traveler for business and/or pleasure? I am!
I am an avid traveler whose flight experiences have drastically changed the past few years. My International flights were great. I always fly different international airlines because each airline experience is unique. However, the domestic flights in the US were a huge disappointment, to put it mildly.
I became frustrated with Delayed Domestic Flights! I switched between different airlines expecting improvement but, it appeared the airlines took turns each week deciding which will delay and/or cancel flights. I became annoyed with paying high ticket prices, only to be stuck overnight in an airport. Not to mention the cost to stay at a decent airport hotel, you definitely don’t want to stay at the airline selected hotel, you’re better off sleeping in the airport. I was over it! After 16 delayed and /or cancelled flights within the past year. Calls and/or emails to each airline, only to receive points for the next delayed and/or cancelled flight. I had it! I am not going to stop travelling! I am going to become a pilot and fly myself!
What I will be blogging
I decided to share my journey by starting the ijetit blog. It’s been nonstop work these few months to get to this point, but I am excited to start a business that shares my passions. Starting a new business is not easy, but it is exciting and can be very rewarding. I will discuss a broad range of topics about Aviation, Aviation Business and Travel including different types of private jet aircrafts, purchasing private jet aircrafts, traveling as a pilot and more.
